TRIUMFUL SPERANTEI (THE TRIUMPH OF HOPE) IS A NON DOMINATION INTERCONFESSIONAL RELIGIOUS ROMANIAN ASSOCIATION dedicated to help Romanian detainees and to make their societal integration more easiest. This association was set up as a result of significant strides accomplished in the Craoiva High Security Prison, where, during the past seven years, the programs performed with the help of Iisus totally changed the detainees behavior, related to their aggressiveness, language and general behavior. The annual physical aggressions cases decreased from 114 to 14. Nowadays is well known that for a former Romanian detainee is extremely difficult to find a job or a place to live, things that make almost impossible his/her societal integration, even if he/she really wants to do so, even if he/she made huge efforts for this. Unfortunately, thousands of former detainees are trapped in this situation, human beings that now are abandoned by the society, that are now excluded form it. Those people don't have any chance of recovery, and finally they fail to crime again. But all of them can be saved and conveyed to the society and used in the community behalf, for all society benefit.
Following this idea, the Christian Association The Triumph of Hope set as it's main purpose to build in Romania some societal integration centers for detainees, containing living places, working places and everything else is needed for a decent life. There are no such dedicated centers in Romania, except one in the Bistrita city, where a group of christians built The Onisim Christian Center for underprivileged detainees. They also renovated a 150 seats hall for the detainees from Bistrita's jail. However, because only one center if not enough, we consider opportune to build more such centers, especially if we consider that many of EU countries has this kind of centers. |
